Write a short thank-you note to…
Dear Ayush bhaiya,
"Ugh, why are you so overachieving?" - my classic one-liner to you, but growing up with someone who excelled at everything has shaped me in ways I have never fully acknowledged. You set the highest standards, and without realising it, I have always followed. You have shown me not to settle for "good enough," but to push myself to achieve more. I became someone who wants more out of life, because I saw you do it first. You always encouraged me to follow my path, being true to myself. While I may not have spent hours breaking down a chemistry principle, I would have immersed myself in researching economic policies, exploring their impact on societal well-being, always driven by a desire to help others. Even now, as you work full-time, you still check in, often asking if your outfit is 'fireee' enough or seeking my insights on the latest economic headlines. Thank you, bhaiya, for everything. Your loving sister. I shared this over Zoom, and he fell silent before brushing it off-"not a big deal, you are my kid sister." But it mattered. I'd never opened up like this before, and we both felt emotional.
You've read the opening.
