Tapestry. A word worn thin. ChatGPT’s favorite cliché. Stripped of meaning. Empty. But to me, it’s different—it holds genuine significance.
Reporting time: 5:30 AM. School trip to a village called Salawas- a five-hour journey that left us all questioning its purpose. Upon reaching, I found myself standing hesitantly before a loom, uncertain how to approach the task of weaving a tapestry—or rather, a traditional Salawas dhurrie. The local artisan, Salim, egged me on to begin by switching levers.
